Last night I had the pleasure of hanging out with a friend and former Senate intern Mike Grove and his girlfriend Colleen. We met up at Club 1223 for an Open Bar, check out a picture http://TwitPic.com/9pfb … Mike Grove says “gin in a cup.”

This year’s College Republican Field Representatives have been sent out into the field with a secret weapon - the Flip Camera!  Our Field Reps will be recording and sharing the down-to-earth, raw and unedited footage from across the country.  See real college students, on real campuses wanting to bring real change to Washington - not merely hoping for change based on empty rhetoric but based...

So, the site is back up
Well, it has been a while since I last blogged.  That’s because Tumblr was giving me problems with using my custom domain.  Since then, I’ve made the decision that I am going to abandon Tumblr and move back to Wordpress.  I’ve also made the decision to purchase http://lukeis.com — the future location of my blog.  I just figured that a lot of people have problems spelling...

YouMail rocks my world...
So, I’m officially addicted.  In case you haven’t heard of YouMail, it’s a free voicemail service that lets you record individual voicemails for each person that calls you.  You can also pick from a ton of pre-recorded clips or upload an mp3 you have on your computer. ITS FREE…check it out! And if you were to call me right now, you would get a reminder to vote for John...

Paris Hilton
So, normally I wouldn’t blog about such trivial people as Paris Hilton, but she is talking politics so I guess it’s ok.  This is her response to the McCain ad.  Actually kinda funny.  After it came out a McCain spokesman commented that her energy plan sounds alot like Senator McCain’s comprehensive energy plan.  Check it out. See more Paris Hilton videos at Funny or Die

Call Congress Back!
The 110th Congress decided to adjourn without dealing with the Energy crisis facing the United States.  Non-action is completely unacceptable. The Democrat Congress has a responsibility to the people to at least give the issue and up or down vote.  Instead, they decided that running for re-election was more important than helping save real money, for real American families. Please go to...

Moving day
Ethan and Will started moving into the house today…the house is really about to get a lot more crowded, and a ton more fun! Can I say Wii?! Can’t wait. I’m currently doing laundry and packing for my trip to Indianapolis. I leave on Wednesday for our Fraternity convention. More stories to come…

What a weekend!
This weekend was something, that’s for sure. Friday we went to see Step Brothers. Saturday we went to Charlie’s new place by the National’s stadium for a rooftop pool party. All I can say is his place is a blast! I look forward to some more fun times there in the future! Today has been a pretty slow day, just doing stuff on the computer and watching the West Wing.

Time to get personal...
It occurred to me that so far most of my posts have been political in nature. So this one will be a little different. As most of you know, I have been living in Washington, D.C. since June 1st. I moved here to work for the College Republican National Committee. Since living here, I’ve had the great opportunity to experience everything that Washington has to offer. Here’s a slide...

What the NY Times didn't want you to read...
Here’s a copy of Senator John McCain’s editorial that the NYT refused to print in their newspaper. It really amazes me that any paper would refuse to print an editorial by any nominee for President of the United States of any major political party at all. Apparently the New York Times is okay with throwing Journalistic professionalism out the window. The New York Post has a little...

Proud to be a Republican
As many of you might know - especially if you were Facebook friends with me - I was a huge supporter of Sen. Fred Thompson’s initial run for the White House. I admire and respect Senator Thompson’s love for our country, and although his Presidential run was unsuccessful, he continues the rich Tennessee legacy of public service. This year, the Republicans look to Sen. John McCain to...
